The Comeau property is 76 acres of meadows, woods, and stream front that was placed under easement with the Woodstock Land Conservancy in 2009.
It is located in the center of Woodstock & and offers a beautiful, tranquil walk out along the Sawkill Stream for miles. A parking lot is conveniently located opposite the start of the trail on Comeau Drive, the road opposite the Police Station. For the trail use the Upper Comeau parking lot. It is a dog-friendly trail (dogs must be leashed).
Despite being located so close to town it is surprising how few people you run into on the trail. It is a gorgeous, easy trail and great for all the family with plenty of rocks for the kids to climb along the way!
Its a dog park with a lot of creeples walking around.
